Yes, you read right. Burton is already here and looking rad. In addition to all the new hoodies and tees already out on the floor, there's a hand-full of 2010 BOARDS in the shop as well. You'll just have to bide your time and be the first to see them when they go out on the floor...soon and very soon...

Also new here in the shop is a little company you may have heard of called ROGUE STATUS! Just a small batch of tees in stock for now, but there are a bunch more and hoodies coming soon. Get on the all over gun print tip, post haste.

Also this weekend, we will be down at Wake Wars in the B.O.B. parking lot. The festivities will be going on Saturday and Sunday evening, there will be a small skatepark in the lot as well. WHEW. Busy busy busy the last couple weekends, as I'm sure you were too. MASKS competition went OFF on the 25th, 27th and 28th. Check out the final scores under events at modernskate.com. Congratulations to all the advanced mini-rampers who qualified for the Warped Tour contest...as well as everyone who came out to support, compete, advance, show off, and have fun. Give yourselves a round of applause or pat on the back...

Don't fret...if you missed out on the first qualifier we've got 4 more chances for you to make those finals in Royal Oak come September. In Lansing at Ranney skate park...July 11, skateboard starts at noon and July 12, inline at noon. In Royal Oak July 17, inline at noon, July 18, skateboard at noon and July 19, BMX at 6pm. Coming back to Grand Rapids on August 6, BMX at 630pm, August 8th, skateboard at 230pm and August 9, inline at 230pm. Final qualifier in Royal Oak August 14, inline at noon, August 15, skateboard at noon and August 16, BMX at 6pm. Get one or all of those dates on your calendars ASAP. You can still qualify for the Warped tour if you place top 12 in advanced mini ramp for skateboarding on either July 11 or July 18 too!

Summer is definitely in full swing, but those of us big pimpin' are already thinking about what fly gear to be spotted in at school in the fall. Well guess what, new arrivals for back to school have already started...new looks from MATIX, VOLCOM, KREW have been spotted so far...get 'em while the gettin' is hot.
