Never Summer....cause let's face it, we'd love it to never be summer...

First in the pool, last call at the pub. Never Summer was one of the first to bring back the rocker technology, with AWARD WINNING results. Now er'body wants on the bandwagon!

Let's chat about the Never Summer tech for a few:

R.C. Technology is what they've coined (Rocker & Camber, patent pending) with Vario Power Grip sidecut. This combines a rocker freestyle feel with all mountain high speed performance. This new technology blends a NS custom rocker profile (in between the bindings) with separate camber areas at each end of the board, providing unmatched power and snap out of turns. This also provides better board tracking for high speed stability and massive ollies. The Vario Power Grip sidecut works perfectly with this design by adding increased edgehold from 2 inches outside of each binding, inward towards the center of the board providing added control and response in any condition. There is a straight section in the center, followed by a shallow radius along the mounting area, and a deep radius finishes at the tip and tail.

MAD POP, MAD HOLD, MAD POWER.

They believe in it too. Almost the whole line has this ridiculous combination of technological advancement!

If you're a freerider, check out the Premier F1-R and the Heritage-R or the Heritage XR for the bigger foot. All mountain freestylers will hold it down on the SL-R or the Legacy-R (big foot). For all you park stars, the Evo-R and the Revolver-R (big foot) will take your breath away. All of these boards mentioned are MADE IN THE USA and have 3 YEAR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY! Just try and out-do that anywhere else!!!

Let's not forget the ladies...NS has your back on a quiver of softer flex and narrower shapes to keep you doin things better than them boys. Freeriders should get down with the Lotus-R, ladies version of the Premier. All mountain freestylers get down with the Infinity-R. These decks both come with the 3 year warranty and are made in Colorado. You can believe a board manufacturer in the CO knows what you're lookin for and how to build it.

There are two more boards in the line, the Circuit-R for the freestylin dudes and the Pandora-R for the freestylin ladies. Still R.C. Technology, lighter for performance in the park. These come in a lil less expensive, and since we know you're about to trash these ridin behind cars and what not, these only have a standard 1 year warranty.

I can't even lie, these boards are all built so well, I dare you to make a warranty claim. Triple Dog Dare.

Keep up the good fight, fight the power, power to the people, people pray for snow.

arm me with harmony...

OR TECH!

I thought, since Winter 2010 is almost upon us, that we would get into a little tech talk so you can make the bestest new board decision for your upcoming shred season.

Today we're gonna do a lil Burton featurette. Let's face it, Burton R & D is pretty sick...

We're all aware of camber. We're all now warming up to rocker. Let's get down to brass tacks:

Burton has a number of new rocker styles to choose from this year.

V-ROCKER is a center rocker section between your feet, and then at the tip and tail that will create a catch free playfulness and improved float. It's like a new-age skate feel. Can't go wrong! You can find this on boards like the Custom V, Heor, Joystick, Blunt and Lipstick.

P-ROCKER has zero camber (flat) between your feet with rockers outside of each foot that lift the tip and tail of your board completely off the snow. This is the answer for you park stars. It's great for pressing boxes and rails. You can find this on the Dominant, Fix, Con-dom and Blender.

S-ROCKER has a set back camber since the stance is set back for deep powder. The rocker is at the nose to promote float through powder. In Michigan, not so much, but if you're Travis Rice...get on your Fish and take a heli trip already!

FLYING-V mighty ducks? Nah! This is a hybrid of camber and rocker! There are rockers between and outside your feet to enhance playfulness and float, but underneath your feet there is traditional camber which improves edge hold for snap and pop, and more power through turns. (My personal fav!) Danny Davis doesn't lie, you can find this on the Easy Livin and the Fyling V boards.

CAMBER - tried and true, convex board shape that gives back energy while powering through turns and great pop and the tip and tail.

Don't forget, the GET LIFTED program in full effect this year. Buy a qualifiying Burton deck and get a free lift ticket! Check the Burton website for full details, I've heard tell even our local hills are involved!
